Tutor Services are available throughout the educational process. The starting point is usually school entry such as 11+ 13+ or 6th form. A UK student may be looking at Common Entrance exam while an international student would be looking at a different exam entry.
Scholarships are very competitive so an understanding of the preparation involved is advisable. Selective schools are heavily oversubscribed and exam coaching is commonplace.
Pupils continue to have tutoring at key times – 11+ 13+ GCSE exams, A Level exams, Interview practice. Between June and January the focus is on preparing students for 11+ entry exams in January and for 16+ University preparation of personal statements, and Oxford and Cambridge applications for the deadline in October.
From February onwards the 13+ pupils prepare for Common Entrance exams – scholarships in May and normal exam in June. Older students work towards GCSE and A Level exams which take place in June.
